Amazing Alliums

I was excited this morning to receive the latest catalogue from Lambley Nursery.   But I'm finding it difficult to go past 'A' for alliums as they are such a good price.
Allium ‘Mount Everest’
Allium ‘Mount Everest’
Allium hollandicum ‘Purple Sensation’
Allium christophii 'Star of Persia'
Believe me, these bulbs can be very, very expensive, so at such great prices, I will be ordering some before they sell out, and if you like them, I suggest you do too!

  1. I love Lambley Nursery.
I have tried growing these in Melbourne but I don't think it's cold enough, they weren't very successful! x

    1. Yes they are good and so are Tesselaars. Mind you, the latter has become very expensive. I recently gave someone a $100 gift voucher from there but looking at their recent catalogue, I don't think the recipient will be able to buy much!
      Thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. Yes, they are quite a talking point, especially the very large A christophii. Gosh it's been nice to have a proper Spring and hopefully Summer this year without all the rain of the last 2 years.
    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. I love finding a plant nursery catalogue in the mail.
It's nice to make a cup of tea, find a comfy chair and plan what to buy and where to plant. All manner of questions then pop up of combinations - who make happy partners in the flower bed!!!
    What could be nicer.
I will have to search out some these wonderful alliums too.

  4. I've not hear of this nursery but will have to check it out. I bought some alliums but they didn't do much and I'm not sure I will see them again. Maybe I need to plant more?
